Edward Kubo Jr. was presented the Justice Award for outstanding contribution to the ideals of justice at the federal level. He is the district of Hawaii U.S. Attorney. Nathan Nikaido was presented the Liberty Bell Award for outstanding contribution to community in a law-related field. He is a Mediation of the Pacific accountant. Adrienne Iwamoto Suarez was awarded Best Law Student Paper. The division annually recognizes one student from papers submitted by second-year law students at the William S. Richardson School of Law
