The Clean Campaign Project, a watchdog group that reviews complaints of inaccurate and unfair campaign practices, will talk about "How to Tell if You Are Getting the Straight Story" from noon to 1 p.m. tomorrow at University of Hawaii at Manoa, Saunders Hall, Room 704.
State Sen. Les Ihara (D, Kapahulu-Palolo) and Rep. Galen Fox (R, Waikiki), who advise the group, will open the session.
The project's bipartisan panel members are: Marilyn Bornhorst, former Democratic Party chairwoman and former City Council chairwoman; Warren Iwasa, former chairman of the Honolulu Community-Media Council; and Randy Roth, University of Hawaii law professor and former senior adviser to Gov. Linda Lingle.
The forum is sponsored by the Hawaii student chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.
