Competitors headed to the next of four lagoons as part of the unique swim-run-swim portion of the Ko Olina Triathlon held on Sunday.


Western New Mexico sweeps BYUH

The Brigham Young-Hawaii women's volleyball was swept by Western New Mexico last night 30-23, 30-28, 30-26 in Silver City, N.M.

Noelle Filimoeatu led the Seasiders with 16 kills, as BYUH actually out-killed the Lady Mustangs 56-43. But they were done in by 28 hitting errors, compared to just 15 for Western New Mexico.

Other Seasiders in double-figure kills were Lilly Tufuga with 12 and Yu Chuan Wang with 11.
