Season-ticket renewal deadline today

The deadline to renew season tickets for the 2004-2005 UH men's basketball season is today.

Current season ticket holders must postmark their renewals by today and can also do so at etickethawaii.com or by faxing their request to the UH ticket office at 956-3403.

Swimming and Diving teams crack top 25

The UH men's and women's swimming and diving teams each made the preseason CollegeSwimming.com Top 25.

The men's team, which returns three UH record holders spread among seven different events, are ranked 20th while the women's team is 24th.

The Rainbow Wahine host their first dual meet against Stanford Oct. 23 at 10 a.m. while the men's first official meet is Oct. 15 at 6 p.m. Both meets will take place at the Duke Kahanamoku Aquatic Complex.

BYU-Hawaii beaten in water polo

Vanja Kalabic scored three goals and Vlada Stankovic added two in a losing effort as 13th-ranked BYU-Hawaii lost to 8th-ranked Loyola Marymount 10-6 yesterday at Los Angeles.

The Seasiders fell into an early 4-0 hole before scoring three consecutive goals in the second period to cut the LMU lead to one. But they would get no closer as the Seasiders received 10 ejections compared to LMU's four.

Globetrotters return to Honolulu

The Harlem Globetrotters will return to Hawaii for an exhibition Tuesday, Nov. 30 at the Blaisdell Arena.

Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. game will go on sale Oct. 16 at 9 a.m. at the Blaisdell Box Office and all Ticketmaster locations.

Tickets are from $10-$35.
