Lucio Serrano Baclig, 89, of Waipahu, a retired Hawaii Agricultural Research Center sugar cane research worker, died at home. He was born in Cabugao, Ilocos Sur, the Philippines. He is survived by wife Buena, son Eprifanio, daughter Dr. Venancia Baclig-Asuncion, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services: 7 p.m. Monday and 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Theresa's Catholic Church. Call after 6 p.m. Monday and 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. Burial to follow at Valley of the Temples.
