Coaches picked for Hula Bowl

Oregon's Mike Bellotti and Georgia's Mark Richt have been selected as head coaches for the Kai and Aina squads in the 2005 Hula Bowl Maui All-Star Football Classic.

Bellotti and Richt were both selected by the American Football Coaches Association.

The Hula Bowl will be held Jan. 22 at War Memorial Stadium, with kickoff scheduled for 3 p.m.

Registration for triathlon open

Entries are still being accepted for Sunday's Ko Olina Triathlon.

The course features a 660-meter swim, a 30-kilometer bike ride and a 4.5-mile run. The race starts at 7 a.m.

On Friday, triathlon coach Lance Watson will host a clinic at Kapiolani Community College at 5:30 p.m. On Saturday, a panel of coaches will speak at Ko Olina at 2 p.m.

All registration packets must also be picked up on Saturday.
