Reno to host 2006 WAC basketball tournamentNevada won the right to host the 2006 WAC championship in basketball March 7-11 at the Lawlor Events Center.Nevada will also host the 2005 tournament and will host the conference's volleyball tournament for the third straight year in November.

Adrienn Hegedus and Jing Jing Liu advanced to the semifinals in the women's draw and won a pair of doubles matches as well.
