clarifications





» Claudio and Rigolette Baraquio held valid teaching certificates when they arrived from the Philippines in 1970, but took hospitality industry jobs for immediate work. A story on Page G13 in the Sept. 12 Mauka-Makai section incorrectly said the certificates were not valid in the United States.
