Soon we'll be seeing scarecrows on fence posts, glowing pumpkins on doorsteps and cobwebs dripping from tree branches. Creating a Halloween haunt takes a lot of preparation, and though it might seem early, now is a good time to start planning. Despite Halloween's bewitching nature, costumes and crafty decorations won't mysteriously appear in a single night.
Free demonstrations and an array of classes and workshops are planned for the holiday season, to provide a jump start on decorations, gift items and greeting cards. What You'll Need
One four-inch clay pot, Wrought Iron Black Patio paint, Mistletoe green Patio paint, Sterling silver Patio paint, Petunia Purple Patio Paint, 15mm round moving eyes (2), 1/2-inch furniture button, 1/2-inch wooden spools, black deco color pen, white deco color pen, Wheat Berry Grass Garden Kit, E6000 glue
How To
Wipe pot with a damp cloth and let dry. Paint the top edge of the pot black and the rest green. Glue knobs near the bottom, one on each side. Glue the wooden furniture button in the middle for the nose, let dry. Paint wooden knobs black. Paint the base of the pot green, let dry. Glue on eyes. Paint a face on your monster. Use wheat berry garden kit to create Frankie's hair.
