Still rising
The stock of Hawaiian Airlines' parent continued to defy gravity as it rose 10 percent this week to lead the way again in the Bloomberg Honolulu Star-Bulletin index.
Hawaiian Holdings Inc., which hit an intraday high of $8.05 yesterday before closing at $7.92, is now up 164.9 percent this year and 2,540 percent since its closing low of 30 cents on June 12, 2003. It is the highest closing price for the stock since it reached $8.88 on June 26, 1995.
Hawaiian Airlines filed for Chapter 11 reorganization on March 21, 2003.
