Brewster's worth a million
laughs ... except to his opponents

Why he's good
Michael Brewster is one of the most popular Warriors among his teammates, and not just because he keeps them loose with his unique comedic stylings. The Tennessee transfer is no clown on the field.
He's tough, durable and versatile. Brewster averaged 7.5 yards per carry in 2003, and he scored the 8-yard game-winning touchdown in the triple-overtime victory over Houston, the school from his hometown of the same name.

X-factor
West Keli'ikipi says his surgically repaired knee feels OK, but all it takes is one helmet at his leg (and that's the only way some guys can tackle this behemoth) for him to hurt it again. Mike Bass, another partner in this one-back time-share plan, has also had a tendency toward injury.
If Keli'ikipi remains healthy, it helps QB Tim Chang's chances of doing the same; the big man from Waianae is great at picking up blitzes, as well as giving the finesse offense a powerful option on handoffs and short passes.
Lots of new guys
Sophomore Ryan Stickler moved over from quarterback, and freshman Chris Cole played defensive line in high school.
If you're confused, Bryan Maneafaiga used to be Bryan Hinton. He's a junior, and he performed well last spring.
Freshman David Farmer is almost as big as Keli'ikipi at 6 feet and 248 pounds.
Cole's previous experience running with the ball is limited to rugby in his native New Zealand.
Stickler could find his way onto the field faster than others because he already had a good understanding of the offense coming into fall camp.
