NBA, UH stars headline Celebrity Classic

Legendary professional basketball stars Moses Malone and JoJo White, as well as Dwight Holiday and John Pennebacker from the UH Fab Five, headline the field for the inaugural Sports Celebrity Golf Classic at Luana Hills Country Club Oct. 14.

Other NBA starts committed to the tournament include Artis Gilmore, Connie Hawkins, Maurice Lucas, Joe Bryant, Lucius Allen, and more. Special Pro-Am and sponsor packages are available for the opportunity to play with these stars.

BYUH tennis star honored

Reigning NCAA II Senior Player of the Year Jan Krejci of BYU-Hawaii was honored as part of the 21st edition of the ITA Collegiate All-Star tennis team yesterday in Forest Hills, N.Y.

Krejci went undefeated during last year's season and lost just two singles matches in his three-year career while leading the Seasiders to back-to-back national championships his sophomore and junior seasons.
