Debbie Pardy of Na Wahine O Ka Hula Mai Ka Pu'uwai (translated as "the women who dance hula from the heart") performed yesterday during the 64th Annual Na Hula Festival, held at Kapiolani Park Bandstand. The event was hosted by the Department of Parks and Recreation and featured students enrolled in the department's hula classes.

Mamo Wassman of Halau Hula 'o Pua 'a'ala Hone (translated as "flower sweet as honey") walked out of the Kapiolani Park Bandstand dressing rooms before the group's opening performance.
