>> A Honolulu police officer who fired shots at a stolen car Tuesday on the North Shore was a man. A story and headline on Page A1 in yesterday's early edition incorrectly indicated the officer was a woman.

>> On-duty emergency vehicle operators, including police officers, are exempt from a state law mandating seat belt use. An article on Page A9 yesterday implied that the law applies to police officers.
