>> A Navy petty officer was charged in a crystal methamphetamine case at Pearl Harbor. A page A4 headline yesterday incorrectly called her a Navy officer.

>> Ousted University of Hawaii President Evan Dobelle earns $125,000 a year for two years plus negotiated pay raises as a UH researcher. A page A1 article in Friday's early edition incorrectly said his salary is $150,000 annually.

>> Former Lt. Gov. Mazie Hirono is one of the few Asian-American women elected to statewide office in Hawaii. A page A3 article in Friday's early edition incorrectly said she was the first. Former Lt. Gov. Jean King was the first.

>> Sonny Waialeale, who owns Waialeale Boat Tours along Kauai's Wailua River, did not use the argument that the state had no jurisdiction over Polynesians until March, when the state terminated his lease. A page A3 article in Friday's early edition incorrectly said he used the argument before the lease was terminated.

>> New state rules will require that 85 percent of gasoline sold in Hawaii contain at least 10 percent ethanol. A story on page C1 Friday incorrectly reported that all gasoline sold in the state will be required to include ethanol.

>> Noah Tom was a partner in the design house Studio Ignition, which was purchased by the Harris Agency LLC. An item in TheBuzz column on page C1 Aug. 3 incorrectly reported his name as Tom Noah. |
