GUESS WHO'S NOT DRIVING?: Sondra Barker and Flash Hanson, right, wished DJ Maleko, Matty "Matty Boy" Hazelgrove and Kawika Kanae many happy returns as the three celebrated their birthdays at the Wave Waikiki early Wednesday morning. The fourth honoree, DJ G-Spot, arrived later. Among the other friends and well-wishers were Justin Yoshino, Hawaiian Ryan, Charlie Longhi, Peter Maharaj, K-Smooth, Jennifer Vo, Nina Roxanne and Mel Cambra.

FLIPPIN' THE BIRD AT BEDROC: DJ Syze, left, and Flip the Bird recording artist Emirc chilled out after a powerful performance headlining an evening of rap, hip hop and progressive poety at Bedroc on Saturday. Parking was plentiful but the club was jammed as fans checked out Kimo James & Trace, Nippondamic and Kelvin Zero before Emirc, DJ Syze and a guy named Hao closed the show.

A MISTY MOMENT: E.B. Fernandez congratulated his girlfriend, Jennifer Perri, right, and her sister, Jasmine, after Hypersquad Dance Company's production of "Identity" closed a six show sold-out run at Leeward Community College on Saturday. It was a misty moment for E.B. and Jenn -- she's moving to New York City next week and he's staying here.

GOOD BYE, JENN!: Billy Lam, left, and Star Kajiyama, right, hugged Jennifer Perri as the cast of "Identity" partied after the final show. Kajiyama has choreographed four numbers including one in which Perri portrayed a seductive Indian goddess. Lam was one of four men featured in a stark number by choreographer Josh Ulep that added expressive modern dance to the program.

CHRISSY'S LEAVING TOO!: Chrissy Naruo talked with Hypersquad co-founders Jason Ulep, left, and Gerald Bolosan Jr. after well-wishers presented them with leis and other mementos. The show was dedicated to Bolosan, and Naruo contributed to it as a dancer, singer and choreographer to "Identity." She leaves Hawaii for college on the mainland later this month.
