‘Show of Stars’ and more!
JUST CALL HIM "THE WANDERER"!: Dion DiMucci, right, celebrated backstage with "Uncle Tom" Moffatt, left, Glen Larson and Jenielee Harrison after his stellar 65-minute performance as the headliner of Moffatt's "Show of Stars" concert in Blaisdell Arena on Friday. DiMucci -- better known simply as Dion -- opened with "Donna the Prima Donna" and continued with solid full-length versions of almost all his biggest hits, from "I Wonder Why" through "Abraham, Martin and John." He sounded great and proved himself an entertaining showman and storyteller.

"THE RIDE" HITS RESTAURANT ROW: Johann Bouit, left, Weldon Kekauoha, Sean Kaawa, Scot Davis and Mary Paalani autographed posters for almost an hour after the preview party for "The Ride" at Wallace Theatre Restaurant Row on Thursday. Davis stars as a surfer who goes back in time to 1911 and meets Duke Kanahamoku. "The Ride" rates a solid three-stars.
