Teye, who pioneered the nightclub party concept in Honolulu, was the promoter of the upscale club event, and Longhi's hosted drinks and hors d'oeuvres for the first hour of the party.

"IT'S ABOUT IONS!": Longhi's founder Bob Longhi and corporate publicist DeBorah Hoopingarner, welcomed Marti "The Marti" Kerton and "Loud Larry"Lieberman to the anniversary party. Longhi said that "negative ions" are the key to a successful restaurant. The proof of that is found on Maui where Longhi's has been a hit for more than 27 years in Lahaina.

Momoa had dinner at Longhi's before the partying got serious. He was gracious with fans and female admirers, but had to take an elevator to ground level just to enjoy a cigarette.

CALL HIM "KIMO":Danny Kaleikini, right, gave James Ingram, center, a hand-woven "Papakolea hat" and dubbed him "Kimo" after Ingram sang "Come and Join Us" and "Somewhere Out There" at Roy Sakuma's ukulele festival at Kapiolani Park on Sunday. Ingram met Sakuma in 1993, and this was his fourth performance at the festival. He closed with "Just Once."
