» The University of Hawaii-Manoa Travel Industry Management school and the UH Foundation has appointed Douglas Rigg as development director. He will be responsible for the school's fund-raising and development efforts. He recently served as the Kapiolani Children's Miracle Network director for the Kapiolani Health Foundation.

» Enterprise Honolulu has appointed Alex McGehee executive vice president. He will be responsible for management of day-to-day operations at the company. He previously served as the state House communications director and vice president for corporate relations at Communications Pacific.

>> CB Richard Ellis Hawaii Inc. has hired four employees. Waylon E. Coy has been appointed asset services assistant controller. Teresa Hirscher has been hired as an associate. Charles D. Hunter was hired as an associate in the investment properties division. Lisa Miller has been hired as property manager for commercial and retail properties.

PROMOTIONS
» Island Air Inc. has appointed three new officers. Howard Todo has been appointed vice president of finance and chief financial officer for the company. He joined the company in May. Leslie "Les" Murashige has been appointed vice president of sales and revenue management for the company. He previously worked for Aloha Airlines for 15 years. Richard Hee has been appointed vice president of customer service for the company. He began his career 35 years ago as a junior terminal agent, and he has held various positions within the company.

» Aloha Petroleum Ltd. has promoted Robert W. Fung to company general counsel. He will be responsible for managing the company's legal affairs and real estate holdings. Before joining the company, he practiced law in Hawaii and Tokyo.

» The Society for Human Resources Management, Hawaii Chapter's new president for 2004 is Ilikai Renaissance Hotel's Arlene Odagiri. Other officers are Vice Presidents Kathy Oyadomari and Allen Chung, Secretary Ann Katekaru, Treasurer Bethanne Enoki and State Director Anna Elento-Sneed. SHRM Big Island Educational Foundation officers are Presidents Kathryn Salomon and Claire Shigeoka, Vice Presidents Nancy Vallely and Dawn Pacheco, Secretaries Aileen Steele and Jennifer Sakamoto, and Treasurers Violet DeSouza and Newton Chu.
