Nicole Okland's dad, Marty Okland, is the dad in the NBC reality show, "Who Wants to Marry My Dad," that has its final episode Aug. 2, on KHON2. Nicole and her sisters, Jennifer and Brooke, lived with 13 women who wanted to marry their dad for three weeks. They will choose one of the two remaining for their divorced dad in the two-hour finale. Nicole has lived here seven years, the only Okland family member who lives here. She works at the Royal Hawaiian's Mai Tai Bar while pursuing an acting career with Hipp Productions. She'll watch the final episode with friends at Dave & Busters ...
Sandra Bullock was spotted dining in Hoku's Monday night with "a cute guy," a female source reports. The "cute guy" was most likely tattooed Jesse James, a tough guy with whom she has been romantically linked. 'Swingtime' recalls Hawaii's 'good old days'
"Hapa Haole Days -- Swingtime in Hawaii" on KHON2 Wednesday brought back fond memories of Honolulu's musical scene before, during and after World War II. Kirk Matthews, Abe Weinstein, Dana Fujikake and Keoni Fernandez did an fine job of putting the show together, using film clips and photos and having people such as Gabe Baltazar and Genoa Keawe talk about those days. The show will be rerun by KHON2 tomorrow at 4:30 p.m. It's a winner ...
