>> Sheraton Hotels & Resorts has appointed Charldon Thomas to Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa general manager. He has worked in various management positions with the company since 1969. He previously served as Sheraton Kauai Resort general manager.

>> Outrigger's Waikiki beachfront division has promoted Marylou Foley to public relations manager. She will be responsible for the public relations and promotional efforts on behalf of the company's two Oahu beachfront properties. She has been with the company since 1996 and served in various management positions.

>> The Maui Preparatory Academy has appointed John R. Colson as founding headmaster. He has been with the academy for more than 25 years serving as counselor, teacher, coach, athletic director, dean and principal of both the Hawaii Preparatory Academy Middle School and the HPA Upper School.

>> Olomana Marketing has promoted Natalie Bostrom to senior project manager.
