Regional traditions come alive
in dancing at Iolani Palace

Derrick Rufo, left, Caydon Hernaez and Julius Dureg, of the Philippine Cultural Group of Hawaii, performed a mock war dance called "Maglalatik" on the grounds of Iolani Palace yesterday. The dance is from the Laguna region of the Philippines and comes from the Ilocano tradition.
