She previously worked as an intern for the state Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism; spent three years as strategic planner in the State Tourism Office of New South Wales, Australia; and worked four years as a project manager for Manidis Roberts Consultants of Sydney, Australia.

>> Outrigger Reef on the Beach has appointed Barbara Gusman senior sales manager. She has more than 30 years of experience in sales, conventions services, hotel management and food and beverage. She replaces Luana Maitland, who has moved to the newly created position of events and activities manager for the company. Maitland will be responsible for managing the hotel's conference services department as well as cultural events and guest activities. She previously worked for Colony Hotels and Resorts.

>> Team Vision recently hired Kai Holland as the advertising and design agency's new Web project manager. Holland previously worked for Cybercom Inc. and at University of Hawaii at Manoa.
