So Evan Dobelle walks into Murphy's Thursday night and says, "June Jones and I are having dinner tonight and having fun." The former UH prez added that he was being interviewed for a coaching job by UH football coach Jones. After Jones arrived I checked in on the pair and Dobelle said it was a special teams coaching position. Jones added, to "cover kicks." Dobelle may have lost his job as university president but he hasn't lost his sense of humor. Jones got a kick out of the exchanges, too ...

'It's not a nude, it's a Renoir!'
When a patron of the Academy of Arts called to complain about the nudity of the larger-than-life poster of Renoir's "Bather" hanging on the front of the museum during the run of the Japan & Paris exhibit, Deputy Director Carol Fox replied, "It's not a nude, it's a RENOIR!" Then there was the motorist who said the image (a tasteful nude from the lower waist up) was "a most pleasant diversion" while stuck in Beretania traffic.
