>> The Waikiki Aquarium has promoted Mark Heckman to director of education. He most recently served as the community enrichment program coordinator for the aquarium.

RECOGNITION
>> Joseph P. Nicolai, president of JN Automotive Group, is one of 63 dealers nationwide to receive the 2004 TIME Magazine Quality Dealer Award. Four of the recipients were named finalists and one was named Dealer of the Year. The awards program recognizes new-car dealers for exceptional performance and distinguished community service.
