Think of dad while you're splurging
GO ahead and treat yourself to a little luxury tomorrow, deemed National Splurge Day in the Chase Calendar of Events, a reference book for such special occasions since 1957.Chase reports that National Splurge Day is a "day to indulge yourself." And you thought other holidays had become overcommercialized.
At least it's a good day for dads, who are the second likely beneficiaries for National Splurge Day largesse. Here are two ways to splurge on dad:
It's tie time again

Day at the spa
