Backstage With Jackie: Curtis Wong, left, talked backstage with Jackie Chan after the popular action/comedy film star finished posing for photos with fans during the VIP pre-show party for his new movie, "Around the World in 80 Days," in the Blaisdell Concert Hall on Tuesday. Wong is a co-owner of Chan's Jackie's Kitchen restaurant in Ala Moana Center and a long-time friend and business partner of the film star.

Hangin' With "Matty Boy": Matty "Matty Boy" Hazelgrove, left photo, let Flash Hansen watch the door while he welcomed Karen Vandenberg, left, Pennie Adams, Kamakoa Page and Kristi Ponce to "SKYLiNE" at the Hanohano Room on Saturday. The women have been friends since they worked together on a recent modeling assignment and have a project of their own in the planning stages. Hazelgrove and Hansen will present another "SKYLiNE" party at the Honolulu Room next Thursday at 9 p.m.

Three Fine "Boys": David C. Farmer, left, celebrated with Glenn Cannon and Sam Polson at the opening night cast party for The Actors Group production of "The Sunshine Boys" on June 2. Cannon and Polson star as Willie Clark and Al Lewis, estranged ex-partners in on old-time Vaudevillian comedy act, but Farmer adds a third fine performance playing Clark's long-stuffering nephew.

Good Times Together, Again!: Vivian Mur caught up with Cecilio Rodriguez, left, and Henry Kapono after C&K played long past midnight at their "Lifetime Party -- 30 Years of Friends" CD and DVD release party at Kapono's last Friday. Mur, a former Big Island resident who met C&K in the '70s but now lives in Florida, was on her feet and dancing down front throughout the concert.

Honoring Ma'ike: Hawea Brown Waiau talked backstage with Kahauanu Lake following his performance in "Na Mele Me Ma'iki," a concert honoring his late wife, Ma'iki Aiu Lake, at the Hawaii Theatre on Tuesday. Waiau flew in from Hilo to bring Lake the maile lei he wore in the show.
