Auction set for
property of criminals
The state will auction forfeited property Saturday at the Neal Blaisdell Center.
Some of the property to be sold at the auction includes a 2004 Yamaha motorcycle, 1995 Chevrolet Camaro, 1995 Infiniti G20, 1993 Toyota pickup truck, a 1990 Ford pickup truck, 1986 BMW 325i, tools, jewelry and two Kamaka ukuleles.
The auction begins at noon. Items may be inspected at 11 a.m. Items in the auction were connected with criminal activities and were seized by state or county law enforcement agencies. Proceeds will go to the law enforcement agencies.
Employees of each county police department, each prosecuting attorney's office and the state Department of the Attorney General as well as employees' family members are not eligible to purchase forfeited property.
