Powwow in Pacific
Kapiolani Park welcomes tribes
from all over the United States

The Intertribal Council of Hawaii hosted the Warrior Society Powwow yesterday and Saturday at Kapiolani Park. Dancers from different tribes around the United States came to dance, drum and sing at the annual event.

Among the dancers on Saturday was Mike Runningwind of the Omaha tribe in Nebraska, who danced the Northern Traditional Men's Dance in grass dance regalia.
