» Aqua Engineers has hired Wayne White as the operations superintendent for the company's Schofield office and Julie Simonton as technical services manager. White will be responsible for overseeing the operations and maintenance of the Schofield treatment plant and collections system. He previously served as a senior process engineer with Austin, Tsutsumi & Associates. Simonton will be responsible for providing support for the company's construction and operations branches, designing septic systems, and offering consulting services to water and wastewater utilities.
PROMOTIONS
>>Gentry Homes appointed Richard N. Hobson as vice president of sales and marketing. He will oversee the company's residential sales efforts as well as new product marketing and advertising. He previously served as sales and marketing director for the company and president of the Sales & Marketing Council of Southern California.
» Bank of Hawaii has promoted the following to vice presidents: Steven W. Edwards of retirement plan services and Jon D. Pevna of corporate sourcing. Edwards will continue his responsibilities as team leader trust officer. Pevna continues his responsibilities as shared services and operations manager, where he manages the bank's corporate travel program and purchasing administration for the bank's major cross-corporate goods and services.
