>> Donald Barry Marks was released from prison May 15, 2002, after serving time for rape. A story on Page A4 in yesterday's early edition incorrectly said he was released May 15, 2003.
>> At a forum May 14, Kauai County Tax Task Force chairman Steve Hunt said: "It's a little hypocritical to back things that cost money while reducing the tax burden on some taxpayers." A story on Page A6 Tuesday incorrectly attributed the comment to Kauai Deputy Finance Director Eric Knutzen. Also, Knutzen's name was misspelled as Knudsen.
>> Police were hunting robbery suspect William Thaxton Earheart IV, who was accidentally released when he used a false name following an arrest for shoplifting. A police brief on Page A4 in yesterday's early edition incorrectly said Earheart had been re-arrested.
