Stuffs

[ PREVIEW ]

Here is a preview of movies opening this week:

Tomorrow

"Shrek 2": Picking up exactly where the first movie left off, we return to the kingdom of Far, Far Away as Shrek (voiced by Mike Myers) and Fiona (Cameron Diaz) return to her homeland to tell her parents they're married. Not everyone is happy to find her married to an ogre -- let alone her being one herself now -- with the most irate being Prince Charming (Rupert Everett), who was supposed to be the one who lifted Fiona's curse. Eddie Murphy also reprises his role as Donkey, and the rest of the cast includes John Cleese, Julie Andrews, Jennifer Saunders and Antonio Banderas. (PG)

Friday

"Stateside": Based on a true story, the film follows the adventures of an outlaw rich kid (Jonathan Tucker) who lands in the Marine Corps and is trained by a hard-biting drill instructor, played by Val Kilmer. When on leave, the kid meets and falls in love with a crazy, young actress/pop singer (Rachael Leigh Cook) at a halfway house. (R)
