MOTHER'S DAY PROTEST
Nahla Curran, 3, held a handmade sign yesterday as a group of mothers and their families gathered at Ala Moana Beach Park to protest the war in Iraq. "Mothers are the givers of life, and we don't want to send our kids to Iraq or all the other aggressions of the world," explained protest organizer Merle Pak before the group marched down Ala Moana.
