EMMA IS EXQUISITE: An overflow audience gave Emma Veary, left, a standing ovation April 25 as she took the stage to sing with the Aloha Serenaders at House Without a Key at the Halekulani Hotel. Veary, who headlined the old Halekulani in the '70s, said it was great to be back singing at the hotel "30 years and 30 pounds later."

MARTINI TIME!: Stephanie L.C. Ching, left, and Donna Chun joined Hanson Meyer for "Meretini Wednesday" at the Meritage. Meyer, who presents the weekly event with co-promoter John Muramoto, says the martini party is intended for professionals who want to relax away from the club scene. Expect the crowd to come rolling in around 9 p.m.
