Buffanblu blast Wolfpack
to advance in ILH
No. 3 seed Punahou scored six runs in the bottom of the sixth to beat Pac-Five 11-2 and advance to the second round of the Interscholastic League of Honolulu playoffs today at 3 p.m. vs. No. 2 seed Saint Louis at Ala Wai Field.
The Buffanblu broke open a 5-2 game on five hits and one Wolfpack error.

Mid-Pacific 4, Maryknoll 3: Chris Goya scored the go-ahead run on a second baseman's error with one out in the bottom of the seventh as the ILH regular-season champion won a close one over the last-place Spartans.
Two Maryknoll errors cost them the game when Goya reached on a one-out basehit and later moved to third on the shortstop's error.
Mid-Pacific will face Kamehameha at 6 p.m. today, at Ala Wai Field while Maryknoll faces Iolani at 1 p.m.

Saint Louis' Marc Nobriga broke open a scoreless game in the bottom of the second with a three-run homer.
