Farrington dominated the finals of the Oahu Interscholastic Association East Division's Postseason Classic boys tennis tournament yesterday at Brigham Young-Hawaii.
The Governors' Mark Ilagan defeated Kailua's Coleman Mira-Naeole 6-3, 6-0 for the singles championship.
In the doubles final, Farrington's Michael Amorio and Clint Nabua topped Kalani's Reyn Sugiyama and Ross Sugiyama 7-5, 6-2.
Moanalua's Julienne Yamamoto beat Castle's Genoa Morton 6-0, 6-1 for the East girls singles title.
Kailua's Marie Tanaka and Joelle Tanaka came on strong to get past Kaiser's Erika Noel and Jamie Yoshino 7-5, 6-0 in the girls doubles final.
Waipahu's Chloe Bihag had the unenviable task of playing -- and beating --a teammate in the girls singles final of the West's Postseason Classic at Central Oahu Regional Park. She defeated Marauders teammate Christie Pagatpatan 6-2, 6-1.
Pearl City's Travis Domaso outlasted Aiea's Kevin Tachino 7-6, 3-6, 6-3 for the boys singles title.
Leilehua's Ryan Murakami and Andrew Murakami won the boys doubles final with a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Waianae's Samson Abad and Kerry Phomtavong. The Mules' Tiffany Villanueva and Cassie Yoneshige were triumphant in the girls final, 6-4, 6-3 over Pearl City's Jessica Lum and Erin Gaza.
