DREAMWORKS

Here are the major film releases opening Friday in theaters:

"Envy": Ben Stiller and Jack Black, left, star as two friends and neighbors whose friendship is tested when one of them invents a spray that makes dog poo disappear, making him truly "stinking rich" in the process. (PG-13)

"Bobby Jones: Stroke of Genius": Jim Caviezel ("The Passion of the Christ") stars in another biographical film, this time as golf champion Bobby Jones. Jones was the only golfer in history to win the prestigious Grand Slam in 1930, at 28. His record remains unbroken. (PG)

"Godsend": A couple (Greg Kinnear and Rebecca Romijn-Stamos) seeks the help of a genetics expert (Robert De Niro) after their son is killed. The doctor brings the boy back to life through cloning, but obviously, he's not the son they remember. (PG-13)

"Laws of Attraction": In a homage to the Spencer Tracy-Katherine Hepburn romantic comedies of the '40s and '50s, Julianne Moore and Pierce Brosnan portray New York City attorneys from opposite sides of divorce court who marry. Can they fare better than their clients? (PG-13)

"Mean Girls": Lindsay Lohan stars in this teen comedy written by Tina Fey, of "Saturday Night Live," about a girl who has spent most of her life in Africa with her zoologist parents and must now contend with the anthropology of the modern American high school. The "law of the jungle" takes on new meaning when the teen falls prey to the psychological warfare and unwritten social rules teen girls face today. (PG-13)
