Stars hang out on Maui,
while Waikiki’s jammin’

COMEDIAN Mike Myers and six-months pregnant Helen Hunt wrapped up a vacation last Friday at Hunt's home at Maui's McKenna beach. Hunt was enjoying the beach, sun and swimming, sources said, and reading scripts. Good friend Myers spent lots of time at Kihei's Sports Page bar and restaurant watching his beloved Toronto Maple Leafs hockey team on TV. Word is the two are collaborating on a film ... Since Brooke Burns is co-starring in Fox television's hotel drama "The North Shore," which begins filming Thursday, expect to see her fiancee Bruce Willis making a few visits to the Aloha state ...

HAWAII'S FAVORITE canned meat was feted at Saturday's Spam Jam in Waikiki. Samplings included a chicken and Spam roulade, the two rolled together in flour and fried, then served with a delicious dipping sauce. At the 105.1 KINE stage, two women vied for a free Spam T-shirt by taking off their tops (one wore a bikini top, the other, a bra, and both ended up getting T-shirts). Event coordinator Lisa Kim said about 22,000 people showed up to enjoy the celebration. ... If prom traffic kept you out of Waikiki, you might want to try again this weekend, when the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center hosts its Music of the World Festival with performances from 1 to 5 p.m Saturday and 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday. Groups performing include Kaliko O Kapalai Hula Halau and Na Kama on Saturday, and Daytrippers and Ike Pono on Sunday. The Hilton Hawaiian Village will also be home to an arts celebration featuring poetry readings, storytelling, ballet and modern dance, jazz and classical music, and more than 40 local crafters selling their works. ... Speaking of the Hilton, Kalehua Featheran, who performs at its Tapa Bar with Tiny Pave, was singing and strolling through Sub-Zero (the new kitchen showroom on the corner of Piikoi and King streets) Sunday. Featheran, Pave and Sonny Kalua entertained during the showroom's grand opening. L'Uraku GM Duane Kawamoto and chef Hiroshi Fukui catered the affair. Everything was delicious including the Baked Oyster, Seared Scallop with Bacon-Takana Ragout, Moi Filet "In A Pouch" and Vanilla Bean Pana Cotta. ...

Congratulations to Dolan Waikiki who won Spam Jam's Times Supermarkets drawing. Waikiki won a six-night trip to Minneapolis (near the Spam Museum) with car and hotel, $500 and admission to the museum. ... Kudos also go to Kalani High School's mock trial team. The students made it to the national competition in Orlando, Fla., and are holding fund-raisers and taking donations for the trip from May 3 to 10. Way to go Falcons! ...
