IT'S ALL IN THE CANS

Chandler Cone, 6, added cans yesterday to the growing stack of tuna collected for the Hawaii Foodbank food drive at Restaurant Row. A spokesperson for the drive said over 5,000 cans had been collected. The Honolulu Star-Bulletin is a co-sponsor of the event.

At yesterday's Spam-eating contest at the Waikiki Spam Jam street festival on Kalakaua Avenue, Patrick Smith, left, and Kele Kipi ate an entire tin of Spam. Although Kipi started out strong, Smith was the faster eater.

TWISTING FESTIVAL FUN

Christina Belaras and Titi Takai rode a ride called The Twister during the 4th Annual Ohana Festival held at St. Francis School. The event had games, live entertainment, food and plenty of fun for adults and children alike.
