>> Mazie Hirono was endorsed by University of Hawaii President Evan Dobelle. In a story on Page A13 Sunday, Hirono's first name was misspelled as Maize.

>> Just for Giggles competed and tied for first place with a group called Better Than Chocolate in the Young Women in Harmony competition Monday. The quartet is part of La Pietra's 21-member show choir, which joined 2,500 other singers nationwide at the America Sings Festival in Long Beach on Saturday. An item on Page D2 Tuesday implied that the quartet members were the only choir members to perform at that event and at Disneyland.
