Brew Moon’s Yount
unveils new dark beer

BEER DRINKERS, rejoice -- brewmaster Greg Yount unveiled his latest creation at Brew Moon on Tuesday, a dark brew that includes chocolate and pure Kona coffee.

Yount and Brew Moon marketing assistant Andree Fallas poured samples of the new Locomocha Stout, which goes down smooth with a hint of chocolate, followed by the familiar bite you would normally associate with a strong cup of coffee. The beer was entered into this year's World Beer Cup Competition; winners will be announced on April 18.

But what I'm really excited about is the debut of Yount's 100th batch of beer at Brew Moon -- a barley wine-style ale that was brewed on March 21. It still needs to be aged, however, so don't expect to see it available at the restaurant until sometime this fall ...
