Spring colors
Laurie Hovis of BeneFit Cosmetics will be at Sephora, Ala Moana Center, to introduce the Shangri-la collection of sheer eye and cheek colors and lipsticks for spring, from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday.Featured are a trio of pretty pastels perfect for prom season, including tangerine-hued "love & mirage" and pink "i lotus'ed you looking," with lipsticks to match, like "looking for a good man-darin" and "picked up in paradise."
They're served up in charming Eastern-motif compacts and tubes, finished with a "tassel" of green ribbon.
The sheer lipsticks run $18, as do the powder compacts.

Spring events continue at Neiman Marcus this week, with men able to view the latest in men's sportswear as "Zegna Week" continues through Saturday in Men's Sportswear and Clothing, Level Three.Today, catch the "Versace Event" in Cosmetics, Level One, introducing the line's new spring color collection.
Through Saturday, the "Accessories Event" on Level One focuses on the must-have shoes, handbags and jewelry of the season. Get used to those chandelier earrings.
And on Sunday, "Intimate Apparel Week" begins, offering a peek at the foundations that ensure a flawless look for spring's flimsiest styles, with bra-fitting demonstrations by the Wacoal team on April 1, Chantelle on April 2 and 3. In Intimate Apparel, Level Two.
