‘Live Stylus Radio’
offers other music

CLAIMING to be broadcast from a boat off the shores of Oahu, "Live Stylus Radio" entered its second week on the airwaves last Friday.

Hosted by former KAHA-FM jock Scott Kaalele, Quadmag.com's Jeela Ongley and the Star-Bulletin's own Shawn "Speedy" Lopes, the show dips far below mainstream offerings by other stations, spinning underground hip-hop, electronic and house music you won't hear anywhere else on commercial radio.

The Architechs' DJ XL was named "Best Rap/Hip-Hop DJ," DJ Dawn "Best Trance/Techno/ House DJ," and DJ KT "Best New Jack DJ." Lightsleeper Kavet the Catalyst took "Best Underground DJ" honors, and DJ Technique was named "Best Turntablist." Congrats to all ...
