WALKING THE WALK
CRAIG T. KOJIMA / CKOJIMA@STARBULLETIN.COM
About 80 visitor industry, downtown business and government leaders joined in support of public education yesterday, paying $100 each to participate in the Hawaii Hotel & Lodging Association's Leadership Walk for Education. The group walked down King Street, past Iolani Palace, before ending at Washington Place on Beretania Street. It was a prelude to the 2004 Visitor Industry Charity Walk in May, which will raise funds for public education and other causes. Among those participating in yesterday's walk was the Rev. Wayne Cordeiro, left, of New Hope Christian Fellowship Oahu.
