Seized items set for
auction include cars
A public auction of property forfeited to the state will be held Saturday at the Neal S. Blaisdell Center.
The property may be inspected from 11 a.m., and the auction will begin at noon.
The property includes several vehicles: a 1997 BMW 318i, a 1996 Acura Integra, a 1996 Chevrolet pickup truck, a 1992 Cadillac DeVille and a 1997 Honda motorcycle.
The property was seized by state and county law enforcement agencies in connection with criminal activities. Proceeds from the auction will be used by the agencies.
Employees and immediate family members of county police departments, prosecuting attorney's office and the Attorney General Department are not eligible to purchase forfeited property. Rosen Auctions will conduct the sale and has a list of property at www.rosenauctions.com.
