>> Kona Community Hospital has added Dr. Robert Golden as a urologist. He will provide full-service prostate cancer and kidney stone treatment, and was formerly chief of staff at Valley Hospital and Medical Center in Spokane, Wash.

>> Starwood Vacation Ownership's time-share property Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas has appointed the following personnel: Anthony Edington, food and beverage manager; Chris Rabang, rooms manager; Jennifer Bauchner, human resources manager; Michael Burgess, chief engineer; and Robert Jackson, assistant controller.

>> Lance Tominaga has joined Hawaii publishing company Media-HI as editor of the company's soon-to-be-launched Web magazine aloha-hawaii.com. He will assemble editorial content for the Web site, which presents photos and feature stories about Hawaii. He previously served as editor for ALOHA the Magazine of Hawaii & the Pacific, the Oahu Concierge, Hawaii Sports Journal and, most recently, Hawaii Home + Remodeling.

ON THE BOARD

>> Richard J. Dahl, formerly president and chief operating officer of Pacific Century Financial Corp. (then known as Bancorp Hawaii Inc.), has been appointed to the International House of Pancakes' board of directors. He replaces retired Chairman of the Board Richard K. Herzer. Dahl will also serve on the board's audit committee.
