No. 3 Kalaheo on the
heels of Punahou
As expected, the Interscholastic League of Honolulu champion Iolani Raiders kept their grip on the No. 1 spot, but Punahou's standing got a bit shaky.
The Buffanblu kept their rank at No. 2 in the Star-Bulletin's top 10 high school basketball poll, but Kalaheo is right behind.
The Mustangs moved up one spot to No. 3, just two points behind ILH runner-up Punahou, after capturing the Oahu Interscholastic Association title last week. Both teams are in the same side of the bracket in this week's state tournament and could possibly meet in a Friday semifinal.
Maui, the champions of the Valley Isle, rose one place to No. 4, while Mililani dropped two spots to No. 5.
Kamehameha, a top-five team earlier in the season, reentered the poll at No. 9 after winning the ILH's postseason tournament and the league's third berth to the states.
