Home ownership center gets grant

The Honolulu Board of Realtors has given a grant of $5,000 to the new Hawaii HomeOwnership Center.

The center, which promotes successful home ownership, is a one-stop resource for first-time homebuyers that provides counseling services on a variety of related subjects.

The money is part of a $15,000 grant HBR will give the organization over the next three years.
