Services set for casualty
of plane crash

Mandy Takeshi Shiraki, 47, of Honolulu, a city paramedic district chief who died Jan. 31 in a Big Island plane crash, will be remembered in services 6 p.m. Sunday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel.

He was among three men on a Hawaii Air Ambulance plane that crashed on Mauna Kea.

He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Melinda; sons Sheldon and Matthew; daughter Shari; parents Takeo and Frances; sisters Fran E. Shiraki, Lili Ann Shiraki Silva, Minza Shiraki-Higa and Dina Kanakaokai; and a grandchild.

Call at the mortuary Sunday after 3 p.m.

Scattering of ashes will be at sunset Tuesday at Ko Olina Boat Harbor.
