This program is sponsored by the Friends of Aina Haina Library and is designed for elementary and pre-school aged children.

A guy thing

Hey guys, even on an island, there's more to dressing than heading for the nearest surf shop, as any bouncer could tell you.

The rise of the metrosexual last year was woe to every Hanes T-shirt wearing soul, because watching all those straight guys getting queer makeovers pretty much convinced women that yeah, every girl would feel right at home with a sharp-dressed man.

Not only would his looking good make her feel good, but can you imagine the possibilities? The shopping trips; the caress of moisturized, manicured hands; the courtliness; the impeccable grooming, even on weekends ...

Europe's designers can't help you with personal hygiene, but during the presentation of the fall-winter collections that began last week, they offered a few looks for increasing your fashion vocabulary and coloring your wardrobe.

Dior's Hedi Slimane starts you off rather painlessly with a white embroidered and checkered shirt casually tossed over a T and comfy brown denim. But you've got to be pretty comfortable in your sexuality to graduate to Tom Ford's pink turtleneck.

Your only limits: Don't spend more than your gal pal, and keep your hands off her Custo Barcelona T-shirts.
